Item 8.01. Other Events.
On November 6, 2014, Transocean Partners LLC (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the schedule for the payment of the Company's initial quarterly distribution. The distribution is $0.2246 per unit, or approximately $15.5 million based upon the number of currently outstanding units. The distribution represents the minimum quarterly distribution of $0.3625 per unit prorated for the period from August 5, 2014, the closing date of the Company's initial public offering, through September 30, 2014. The Company will pay the initial quarterly distribution of $0.2246 in accordance with the following schedule:
