On October 6, 2014, Nuveen Investments issued a press release announcing, among other things, the mergers of Minnesota Municipal Income Portfolio Inc. and First American Minnesota Municipal Income Fund II, Inc. into a newly organized closed-end fund, Nuveen Minnesota Municipal Income Fund, managed by Nuveen Fund Advisors, LLC and sub-advised by Nuveen Asset Management, LLC. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
