EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Amendment No. 1 (“Amendment No. 1”) to our Form 6K, originally filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 23, 2018 and consisting of the 1Q18 UBS Group AG (consolidated) capital instruments and TLAC eligible senior unsecured debt information (the “2018 Form 6-K Capital Instruments and TLAC Information”), is being filed for the purpose of correcting the issuer identified in the first table in the 8th row under "Additional tier 1 capital." The issuer of ISIN CH0400441280 issued on January 31, 2018 was incorrectly identified as "UBS Group AG, Switzerland." The correct issuer for ISIN CH0400441280 issued on January 31, 2018 is "UBS Group Funding (Switzerland) AG."
Other than as required to reflect the amendment discussed above, this Amendment No. 1 does not, and does not purport to, amend, update or restate any other information in the 2018 Form 6-K Capital Instruments and TLAC Information, or reflect any events that have occurred after the filing of the 2018 Form 6-K Capital Instruments and TLAC Information. Our 2018 Form 6-K Capital Instruments and TLAC Information, as amended by this Amendment No. 1, continues to speak as of the initial filing date of the 2018 Form 6-K Capital Instruments and TLAC Information.

This document provides information about the treatment of capital instruments and other instruments contributing to the total loss-absorbing capacity (TLAC) of UBS Group AG consolidated under the Swiss SRB framework as of 31 March 2018.
