Item 8.01 Other Events
On February 26, 2015, Beneficial Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the holding company for Beneficial Bank (the “Bank”), issued a press release announcing that, effective as of March 31, 2015, James Gould will be retiring as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of the Bank. Effective as of April 1, 2015, Martin Gallagher, Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of the Bank, will assume the position of Chief Lending Officer of the Bank. For more information, reference is made to the Company’s press release dated February 26, 2015, a copy of which is attached to this Report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
