Item 8.01 Other Events.
Effective April 17, 2017, The Habit Restaurants, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Douglas R. Branigan as the Company’s Chief Development Officer.
On April 17, 2017, the Company issued a press release announcing the appointment of Mr. Branigan as the Company’s Chief Development Officer. A copy of the press release has been filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
