Item 1. Description of Securities To Be Registered.

The securities to be registered hereunder are €500,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 3.125% Senior Notes due 2033 (the “Notes”) issued by Johnson Controls International plc, an Irish public company limited by shares, and Tyco Fire & Security Finance S.C.A., a Luxembourg corporate partnership limited by shares.

Descriptions of the general terms and provisions of the Notes are set forth under the caption “Description of Debt Securities” in the prospectus dated February 2, 2023 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on February 2, 2023 (File Nos. 333-269534 and 333-269534-01), and under the caption “Description of Notes” in the prospectus supplement thereto dated December 4, 2024, which was filed with the SEC on December 6, 2024 pursuant to Rule 424(b) under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and are incorporated by reference herein.
