On December 16, 2020, Planet Fitness, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Bill Bode, age 60, has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer, reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer, Chris Rondeau. Mr. Bode joined the Company in 2016, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Franchise Operations. As Chief Operations Officer, he will continue to be responsible for leading the franchise operations team, while also overseeing the corporate club operations and vendor management teams. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Bode held various senior leadership positions at Dunkin' Brands, most recently serving as the Regional Vice President of Dunkin' Donuts Northeast from 2010 to 2016, overseeing the operations of over 2,600 restaurants.
There is no arrangement or understanding between Mr. Bode and any other person pursuant to which he was appointed Chief Operations Officer of the Company. There are no transactions involving Mr. Bode requiring disclosure under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.
