Hillenbrand has a great track record of supporting the growth and success of its various units, including deep expertise in plastics processing equipment through its Coperion unit.
In Hillenbrand, we believe we have found a tremendous partner. Together, we will be able to continue delivering the types of breakthrough products and customized systems you have come to expect, while creating even greater value by increasing our scale, expanding our end markets, and strengthening our service platforms and distribution capabilities.
While this is a very exciting development for us, today’s announcement is just the first step in the process of bringing our companies together. The transaction must receive customary regulatory and shareholder approvals, which we expect will be completed in the first calendar quarter of 2020.
