Explanation of Responses:

1. Each restricted stock unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of BlueLinx Holdings Inc. common stock.

2. These are time-based restricted stock units that vest in three equal annual installments commencing on June 7, 2023. Vested shares will be delivered to the reporting person not later than 30 days after the vesting date.

3. These are time-based restricted stock units that were granted to the reporting person pursuant to that certain Amended Transition Agreement, dated December 23, 2022, between the Company and the reporting person. The units vest in two installments, with the first installment of 2,372 restricted stock units vesting on March 31, 2023, and the second installment of 2,373 restricted stock units vesting on June 30, 2023. Vested shares will be delivered to the reporting person not later than 30 days after the vesting date.
