Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On July 29, 2019, Rhythm Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued the attached press release announcing that the European Medicines Agency’s Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products has adopted a positive opinion recommending setmelanotide for designation as an orphan medicinal product for the treatment of patients with Bardet-Biedl syndrome. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. The Company undertakes no obligation to update, supplement or amend the materials attached hereto.
