Section 5 – Corporate Governance and Management
Item 5.02
Appointment of Governing Board Member.
The Governing Board of the Life Partners Position Holder Trust has selected Glenda Pirie to serve as a new Board member to replace Nate Evans who resigned in January 2019. She will begin service immediately. Glenda invested in life insurance policies sold by Life Partners and holds units in the Trust. She was a member of the Unsecured Creditors Committee during the bankruptcy proceedings of the Life Partners entities. She was very active as a member of that committee and has substantial knowledge of the matters which involve the operation of the Trust. With the addition of Glenda to the Board, four of the five members of the Board are investors who hold various positions in the Trust. The Board welcomes her addition and future contributions to the governance of the Trust.
