EXPLANATORY NOTE
Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. is filing this Amendment No. 1 on Form 6-K/A ("Amendment") to replace Exhibit 99.1 solely to make certain corrections to the version originally filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 2, 2021. A copy of the corrected information circular is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Amendment.
