Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 21, 2018, First Choice Bank (the “Bank”), a California state-chartered non-member bank and the wholly-owned subsidiary of First Choice Bancorp, was approved under section 9 of the Federal Reserve Act to become a member of the Federal Reserve System. In approving the Bank’s application, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System considered the factors it is required to consider when reviewing applications pursuant to section 9 of the Federal Reserve Act and finds those factors to be consistent with approval.
On September 27, 2018, the Board of Directors of the Bank adopted implementing resolutions to become a member bank. The Bank has purchased the required stock of the Federal Reserve Bank and the Bank’s membership is effective October 1, 2018.
