Amendment to License Agreement

As previously disclosed, on May 12, 2014, we entered into a license agreement with CSL Limited (“CSL”), pursuant to which we obtained an exclusive, worldwide license to certain patents,know-how and other intellectual property owned or controlled by CSL related to CSL’s anti-IL13 receptor monoclonal antibody, CSL334, which we refer to as ASLAN004, and antigen binding fragments thereof.

On May 31, 2019, we amended and restated the license agreement with CSL, which primarily expanded the scope of the license to allow us to develop, manufacture for clinical trials and commercialize ASLAN004 for the treatment, diagnosis or prevention of diseases or conditions in humans (the “Amendment”). The development under such Amendment is currently focused on the treatment of respiratory and inflammatory conditions, and in particular, atopic dermatitis.
