Talos Energy Announces Stockholder Approval for Acquisition of EnVen Energy Corporation
Houston, TX, February 8, 2023, – Talos Energy Inc. (“Talos” or the “Company”) (NYSE: TALO) announced today that all of the proposals related to its previously announced acquisition of EnVen Energy Corporation (“EnVen”) were approved by the requisite holders of Talos common stock at the Company’s special meeting of stockholders held on February 8, 2023 (the “Special Meeting”). The final voting results from the Special Meeting will be reported in a Current Report on Form 8-K to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission after certification by the Company’s inspector of elections.
The closing of the EnVen acquisition is expected to occur on February 13, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.
