Remarks:

This Form 3 is being filed solely to reflect the reporting person becoming a director or officer of nVent Electric plc ("nVent") effective with the separation of nVent from Pentair plc ("Pentair") on April 30, 2018 pursuant to which nVent issued one nVent ordinary share for each Pentair ordinary share held as of April 17, 2018, the record date for the distribution. The nVent ordinary shares beneficially owned by the reporting person as a result of the distribution will be reflected on the next Form 4 filed by the reporting person.
