1. Restricted Stock granted pursuant to the Coastal Financial Corporation 2018 Omnibus Incentive Plan, which vest according to footnote (2) below.

2. Includes restricted stock granted pursuant to the Coastal Financial Corporation 2018 Omnibus Incentive Plan which vest as follows: 490 shares of common stock vest one day prior to the issuer's 2022 Annual Shareholder Meeting, and 281 shares of common stock vest February 4, 2022.

3. The reporting person disclaims beneficial ownership of the shares held by child's trust, and this report should not be deemed an admission that the reporting person is the beneficial owner of such trust's shares for purposes of Section 16 or for any other purpose.
