Resignation of Heather Preston, M.D.

On December 22, 2021, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Karuna Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) accepted the resignation of Heather Preston, M.D. from the Board and as the chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Board, effective as of December 20, 2021. Dr. Preston’s resignation from the Board is due to other commitments, and is not due to any disagreement with the Company.
