EXPLANATORY NOTE
The Management Information Circular (the “Circular”) of GFL Environmental Inc. related to the 2022 annual general meeting of shareholders attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 has been revised to correct certain non-material typographical and clerical errors on pages 33, 40 and 42 of the Circular previously filed on April 12, 2022.
