Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 10, 2022, David Schneider, Chief Financial Officer of Broadmark Realty Capital Inc. (the “Company”), informed the Company of his intention to resign from his position in connection with accepting an opportunity at a private company. To assist with an orderly transition, Mr. Schneider plans to remain in his role at the Company until December 31, 2022, or the appointment of his successor if earlier. The Company plans to commence a search for the Company’s next chief financial officer.
