On February 24, 2023, Scott Smith, President of BioAtla, Inc. (“BioAtla”) notified BioAtla of his intention to resign, effective February 27, 2023, in order to pursue a new opportunity as Chief Executive Officer at Viatris Inc. Mr. Smith will continue to serve as a director on the board of directors (the “Board”) of BioAtla, and his equity awards will continue to vest based on his continued service on the Board.
A copy of the press release issued by the Company announcing the resignation of Mr. Smith is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
