On August 12, 2021 FREYR Battery issued a press release announcing that it has entered into two non-binding memoranda of understanding with Finnish Minerals Group and the City of Vaasa, respectively, for strategic collaborations on potential development of industrial scale battery cell technology and production in Finland. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
