1. On February 15, 2022, 13,971 restricted common shares (awarded to the Reporting Person on March 8, 2021) of Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. (the "Company") vested, and 7,878 shares of the Company's common stock were withheld to satisfy tax withholding obligations. The closing price on February 15, 2022 of the Company's common stock on the New York Stock Exchange was $11.87 per share.
