Explanation of Responses:

1. This transaction reflects shares of Common Stock acquired by the reporting person pursuant to a reinvestment of cash dividends plan of the reporting person's broker. The reporting of this transaction was deferred under Rule 16a-6(a). Because of the reporting person's sale of shares on November 3, 2023, the reporting of this transaction is no longer deferred and is being reported on this Form 4 in accordance with Rule 16a-6(b).

2. This amount includes 8,800 restricted stock units that are not yet vested that have been granted under equity compensation plans of Silgan Holdings Inc. Upon vesting, these restricted stock units will be settled in shares of Common Stock on a 1-for-1 basis.
