Explanation of Responses:

1. Includes 20,217 restricted stock units granted under the HF Sinclair Corporation Amended and Restated 2020 Long Term Incentive Plan, of which 10,591 will vest on December 1, 2023, 6,433 will vest on December 1, 2024, and 3,193 will vest on December 1, 2025, provided that the reporting person remains in the employ of the Issuer through each such vesting date. The vested restricted stock units will be paid within 30 days following the vesting date in the form of the Issuer's common stock equal to the number of vested restricted stock units.
