Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Appointment of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer
On December 4, 2024, the Board of Directors of Surf Air Mobility Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Deanna White as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Ms. White had served as the Company’s Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer since May 2024.
No new compensatory or severance agreements were entered into in connection with Ms. White’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
There are no arrangements or understandings between Ms. White and any other persons pursuant to which she was selected as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. There are also no family relationships between Ms. White and any director or executive officer of the Company and she has no direct or indirect material interest in any transaction required to be disclosed pursuant to Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.
