Explanation of Responses:

1. Includes 168.726 restricted stock units (RSUs) from February 15, 2020 award, 378.244 RSUs from February 15, 2021 award, and 550.146 RSUs from February 15, 2022 award. The RSUs vest in equal annual installments over their three year vesting periods. Dividend Equivalents are credited to the unvested time-based RSUs in lieu of a cash dividend payment, and vest with the parent RSUs. Each whole Dividend Equivalent is the economic equivalent of one share of MidWestOne Financial Group, Inc. common stock.

2. Shares allocated to the reporting person's account from within the MidWestOne Financial Group, Inc. Employee Stock Ownership Plan, as of July 1, 2022.
