Item 2.02 | Results of Operations and Financial Condition. |
On February 5, 2025, Zenas BioPharma, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its 2024 accomplishments and outlined its key business objectives for 2025. The Company also disclosed that it had a preliminary unaudited amount of cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments of approximately $350 million as of December 31, 2024. This amount is preliminary and unaudited and is subject to completion of the Company’s financial closing procedures. As a result, this amount may differ materially from the amount that will be reflected in the Company’s consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2024. A copy of the press release disclosing this information is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated into this Item 2.02 by reference.
