Explanation of Responses:

1. The securities reported represent securities held by the reporting person immediately following the closing of the transactions contemplated by the Business Combination Agreement dated January 31, 2022, by and among MariaDB Corporation Ab, Angel Pond Holdings Corporation, Mangomill plc and Meridian MergerSub Inc., in connection with which Mangomill plc changed its name to MariaDB plc.

2. As the founder and managing partner of Smartfin Capital II CommV ("Smartfin CommV"), the reporting person may be deemed to share beneficial ownership of the Ordinary Shares held by Smartfin CommV. The reporting person disclaims any beneficial ownership of any Ordinary Shares held by Smartfin CommV except to the extent of his ultimate pecuniary interest.

3. As the founder and managing partner of SmartFin Capital NV (private privak) ("SmartFin"), the reporting person may be deemed to share beneficial ownership of the Ordinary Shares held by SmartFin. The reporting person disclaims any beneficial ownership of any Ordinary Shares held by SmartFin except to the extent of his ultimate pecuniary interest.
