Item 2.05. Cost Associated with Exit or Disposal Activities
On April 21, 2005, Chesapeake Corporation ("Chesapeake") issued a press release announcing that on April 18, 2005, it completed the sale of substantially all of the assets of its French wine and spirits label business, Bourgeot Etiqso Lesbats, and that, in connection with such sale, Chesapeake expects to recognize an estimated pre-tax and after-tax non-cash loss of approximately $3.5 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2005. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
