On October 21, 2024, Charles C. Van Vleet, Jr. notified the Boards of Directors of Gouverneur Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) and Gouverneur Savings and Loan Association (the “Bank”) that he intends to retire as a director of the Company and the Bank effective as of December 31, 2024. Mr. Van Vleet’s decision to retire as a director was not the result of any disagreement with the Company or the Bank relating to the operations, policies or practices of the Company or the Bank.
