CONSENT OF INDEPENDENT REGISTERED PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRM
We consent to the use of our reports dated March 1, 2012 with respect to the consolidated financial statements of Talisman Energy Inc., which comprise the consolidated balance sheets as at December 31, 2011 and 2010, and January 1, 2010, and the consolidated statements of income, comprehensive income, changes in shareholders' equity and cash flows for the years ended December 31, 2011 and 2010, and a summary of significant accounting policies and other explanatory information, and the effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting of Talisman Energy Inc., included in an exhibit to the Annual Report (Form 40-F) as at December 31, 2011.
