8.01 Other Events
On September 19, 2007 the Board of Directors of Chyron Corporation (the "Company") approved a one-for-three reverse split of its common stock and the Company filed with New York State a Certificate of Amendment to Certificate of Incorporation, a copy of which is enclosed, to effect the reverse split. The shares commenced trading post-split on September 20, 2007. As a result of the reverse split the Company's common stock symbol was changed from CYRO.OB to CHYN.OB for trading on the OTC Bulletin Board.
