Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 21, 2006, Grubb & Ellis Company (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has authorized a common stock buyback program pursuant to which the Company may repurchase up to fifteen percent (15%) of its outstanding shares of common stock as market conditions warrant over the next twelve (12) months.
