Item 8.01. Other Events.
On August 8, 2007, the plaintiff in a purported class action shareholder lawsuit entitledHenzel v. Image Entertainment, Inc., et al., Case No. BC369249, filed a request for dismissal of the lawsuit without prejudice. On August 9, 2007, the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles, dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice. The lawsuit was originally filed on April 10, 2007 against Image Entertainment, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), and certain of its officers and members of its board of directors.
