Item 8.01.  Other Events.
On September 23, 2008, Computer Sciences Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) has concluded its examination of CSC’s consolidated tax returns for the fiscal years 2000 through 2004 and the parties have executed a Form 906 representing final resolution.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
