On August 23, 2007, CT Communications, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its shareholders voted to approve the previously announced merger agreement providing for the acquisition of the Company by Windstream Corporation.
A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
