Citizens, Inc. Declares Stock Dividend
Dow Jones & Company, Inc. — December 1, 2005
AUSTIN, Texas, December 1, 2005 — Citizens, Inc. (NYSE: CIA), announced the declaration of a 7% common stock dividend payable December 31, 2005, to holders of record of its Class A and Class B common stock as of December 15, 2005. The dividend will result in the issuance of approximately 2.5 million shares of the Company’s Class A common stock. Over the past seven years, Citizens has issued stock dividends to shareholders that have averaged 7% per year.
