On May 25, 2005, Bancinsurance Corporation issued a press release announcing that 1) its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ohio Indemnity Company, filed its audited statutory financial statements for the fiscal years ended December 31, 2003 and 2004, and 2) the previously reported investigation by its Audit Committee of concerns raised by Ernst & Young LLP during its 2004 audit is complete.
