On July 19, 2010, Energen Corporation issued a press release announcing the impairment of part of its Conasauga shale leasehold. The impairment resulted in a one-time non-cash charge of $10 million after-tax or 14 cents per diluted share. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
