Beginning on April 8, 2008, and at other times thereafter, Double Eagle Petroleum Co. (the “Company”) intends to present or distribute a PowerPoint slide presentation entitled “Double Eagle Petroleum Co. 2008 OGIS New York” to attendees at the Independent Petroleum Association of America’s Oil and Gas Investment Symposium in New York. The PowerPoint slide presentation is accessible on the Company’s website atwww.dble.us, and is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto. Additionally, a live webcast of the presentation will be available through the IPAA’s web site atwww.ipaa.org, on Tuesday, April 8th at 2:50 pm EST.
