On November 6, 2014, Microsemi Corporation issued a press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
Item 8.01 Other Events.
Pursuant to a board authorized share repurchase program of up to $100 million announced on September 9, 2014, Microsemi Corporation repurchased 860,388 shares through November 5, 2014 at an average price of $23.53. As of November 5, 2014, the remaining authorized amount for the share repurchase program was $79.8 million.
