ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
On November 23, 2005, Harken Energy Corporation (AMEX: HEC) (the “Company”) announced that Global Energy Development PLC had received approval for a new exploration and concession contract with the National Hydrocarbons Agency of the Republic of Colombia. The Company currently holds approximately 34% of Global Energy Development PLC’s issued share capital.
