Announcement Regarding Completion of the Acquisition of
Brazilian Music Label Som Livre by Sony Music Entertainment
March 4, 2022 (Eastern Standard Time) – Sony Music Entertainment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation (“Sony”), completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares and related assets of Som Livre, an independent music label in Brazil, through its subsidiary, according to the executed definitive agreement previously announced on April 1, 2021 (Eastern Standard Time).
This transaction is not anticipated to have a material impact on Sony’s forecast for its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022.
