Announcement Regarding Completion of Strategic Investment in Epic Games, Inc.
On June 2, 2022, Sony Group Corporation (“Sony”) completed the strategic investment of approximately 1 billion U.S. dollars (the “investment”) in Epic Games, Inc. through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sony Corporation of America, according to the executed definitive agreement previously announced on April 11, 2022.
This investment is not anticipated to have a material impact on Sony’s consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023.
