Item 8.01. Other Events.
Alabama Power Company (the “Company”) intends to furnish to its shareholders a proxy statement in connection with the Company’s 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the “Proxy Statement”). In order for a shareholder proposal to be considered for inclusion in the Proxy Statement, it must be received by the Company no later than November 27, 2019.
