Item 8.01 Other Events
On February 25, 2008, International Bancshares Corporation (“IBC”) issued a news release announcing that on February 20, 2008, its board of directors declared of a thirty-three cents per share cash dividend for all holders of Common Stock, $1.00 par value, of record on March 31, 2008, said cash dividend to be payable on April 18, 2008. The news release, attached hereto and filed herewith as Exhibit 99, is incorporated herein by reference.
