Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 21, 2014, International Bancshares Corporation (“IBC”) issued a news release announcing that IBC had been named to Forbes’ 2014 list of America’s 50 most trustworthy financial companies. The inaugural list was compiled for Forbes by GMI Ratings.
The news release announcing the recognition, attached hereto and filed herewith as Exhibit 99, is incorporated herein by reference.
