NEW YORK, NY, July 6, 2015 -- Enzo Biochem, Inc. (NYSE:ENZ) today announced that it has reached and finalized a settlement with Luminex Corporation (NASDAQ: LMNX) involving payment of $7.1 million to Enzo in an infringement action brought by Enzo regarding its U.S. Patents Nos. 6,992,180; 7,064,197; and 8,097,405.
Today’ssettlement resolving the disputes between Enzo and Luminex impacts only one of 12 cases originally brought by Enzo in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware alleging patent infringements against various companies, the remainder of which are still pending.
