Item 5.02(b) On December 20, 2006, Tamara J. Erickson notified the Board of Directors of PerkinElmer, Inc. (the “Company”) that she has decided not to stand for re-election to the Board of Directors when her current term expires in April 2007. Ms. Erickson has served on the Board of Directors of the Company since 1995.
